We want to provide all that attend an opportunity to show their support and gain some further insight into these issues. A large portion of the profit from the event will be donated to our chosen charities. in 2021 we donated $60,000 to 4 charities.

Our chosen charity partners in 2022 will be Trojans Trek, Partners of Veterans Association Australia, SA Police Legacy, Australian Professional Firefighters Foundation (APFF), and the CFS Foundation.

Funds from the 2021 The Gov WFAV event will support an exhibition of photos from our event earlier this year; SmartBar Walk for a Veteran with PTSD. We will ask people to submit a photo from the walk and include a caption about the photo and why they walk and support veterans and the emergency services. We will choose 15 of them to be framed and presented as a SALA exhibition at the Henley and Grange RSL.
